  1. Marinate the fish head and tail with turmeric powder and salt for 1hr.
  2. Fry the fish head and tail.
  3. Fry the onion in the same pan in the same oil.after onion is became translucent add the grated ginger and garlic and cook till the raw smell goes away.
  4. Add the chopped cabbage to the pan, cook it for 2 min in a low-medium flame. then add chopped tomatoes to it. Cook it for another 1 min by closing the lid.
  5. Add the spices (turmeric powder, chilli powder,cumin powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi, salt, fish masala, bay leaves) to it. mix it well. Don't add any water. Cook it for 5min in same flame. If it is required then add little water. Add the green chillies.
  6. Break the fish head and tail and add to the cabbage. Mix it well. Cook it for another 10-15 min. Sprinkle garam masala, coriander leaves to it and mix it. Serve it hot with chapati.
